Your best chance of finding him is to set a humane trap. He is scared and in “survival mode.” Cats typically hide during daylight and are active at night. Try walking your yard after midnight while shaking his treats and calling him. He may have to be coaxed out of hiding. Leave a bowl of fresh water outside your door daily, along with some worn clothes so he picks up the scent of home. No litter box as it can attract predators and territorial cats.
