any vet clinic or animal shelter can scan for a MICROCHIP for free 🙂 Some rescue groups have microchip scanners, too. Take collar OFF and look inside for a hand-written phone number -- hang a poster / flyer at stop sign where dog was FOUND, in case owner is NOT on facebook, and never sees this photo. Ask police and also sheriff's office if anyone reported the dog lost (while shelters were closed) - -post on Nextdoor .com / the Ring app / and PetFBi .org in zip code where dog was found. Put dog on LEASH where found, and it might lead ya back to its own home -- thanks for helping it !!
