UPDATE 8/3: Still missing, 8 days later. Thank you all for commenting and sparing a moment for our dear Ruby. We still hold out some hope because she knows a lot of the forest she disappeared into and is a young, healthy and strong Husky. I hike the woods at least every couple of days calling for her. I realize that other outcomes are increasingly more likely but we love Ruby and won't give up on her quite yet. Fingers crossed. If someone has her and intends to keep her, they are getting a very sweet girl that loves people. I hope whoever they are, that they give her the love that we have given her in the 10 months we have had her. She was a rescue, found 2 weeks abandoned in an apartment after her litter was taken from her, and she blossomed with us to be a very loving dog.
