Glad she is home ,some vets are better than others, even lipomas that are this cumbersome can be painful due to sheer weight carrying it around especially on older dogs. Dr.Price in Clinton did a rescue dog that wondered Norwich for 10yrs & removed a 10lb 7oz lipoma other vets would not-now has a great loving home.

Alyson Gray so true And many vets say… nothing to worry about its just a lipoma. BUT best to take out when small because they can grow out of control and then this happens I speak from experience I an so relieved she is back home!!!! 🥰

My dog has growths too. Bolton Vet tested them and removing is not medically necessary. It would just be cosmetic. They said if it’s not bothering him to leave it.

Not if they are old and have a weak heart. My lab had a similar issue and we were told if she went for surgery she wouldn’t wake up
