Put out linens and clothing of family members that has not been washed in front of a ring doorbell or security system and set the motion alerts on. Open the garage door enough that the kitty can get inside if it’s seeking protection, but do not put food out because that will attract predators. Cats do not normally go farther than a few houses away, but they will hold during the day and try to return home at night. If you can set outside from the area that the cat left after dark, do so and gently call while using a flashlight to look for the reflection of eyes. Caring for your cat safe return and sharing your post.
