Put something with a familiar scent, a piece of clothing you've worn, or a favorite blanket of his, outside near your front door. Check outside at night when it's more quiet; they usually do not go far but hide nearby. Take out his favorite food and treats later in the evening and see if you can catch his attention. Good luck, please post when he is home.
