Hi Les, thank you for the advice. First thing I'm doing when the print shop opens is making the flyers right away. Unfortunately, the nearest shelters around us are about 4-5 miles away and are closed on Mondays but I'll be sure to check in on them first thing tomorrow. Appreciate all the help!

Post lost signs all around area lost from & keep checking the shelter daily in person, the shelters are not keeping them long before euthanizing them due to space. If you are able & really want him or her back, offer a reward that will sometimes convince the person that has them who plans on keeping them to do the right thing. I hope you get her back. Shared in hopes he or she is seen & returned.

Suzan Reynoldsthank you very much for the tip Susan! Especially about the tip in regards to the clothes. I immediately got old clothes and attached it to high points around the house.

General Information: Set up a scent station. Get a scent that the dog is familiar with out in front of the house (EX Worn clothing / shoes from a family member that the dog lives with.) Hang it out high so that the smell can travel and guide the dog back home. Keep an access point open in case the dog returns. Please post signs with the dogs' picture and your contact information on the sign. Post these signs all over as if someone spots your dog the person can contact you and provide a location of where the dog is. (Not everyone is on Social Media). Ask your neighbors to check their doorbell or house cameras (if applicable), sheds and garage. Owners: Do not try and search for the dog - as your scent travels when you are out and walking all over can confuse the dog. The dog should only smell your scent near your home. Never underestimate the ability of a dog to find their way home using their nose. Call or go to the Animal Shelter in your area and tell them that your dog is missing to see if it has been picked up. Prayers your dog is found safely. Beware of scammers.
