If you found a dog wearing an AirTag, do this: 1. Hold the top of your iPhone near the white side of the AirTag. 2. A notification should appear. Tap it. 3. This opens the AirTag’s NFC/Found Mode webpage. 4. If the owner has marked it as lost and provided contact information, you may see a phone number, email, or message from the owner. 5. You do not need to pair the AirTag with your iPhone or add it to your Apple account. If nothing pops up Open the Camera app and scan the AirTag by holding the top of your iPhone close to the white plastic side. You can also try tapping the AirTag against the top edge of the iPhone. If the owner hasn’t enabled Lost Mode/contact information, you generally won’t be given their identity or contact details just from the AirTag.
