MESSAGE FROM OWNER
We’ve had Gimlet since he was weaned and can’t stop crying at his disappearance.He’s named in honor of my dad who died just before we got him. Dad didn’t drink much but when he did, he liked a vodka Gimlet. A roofer was here to repair snow damage, accidentally left the gate open and we didn’t double check. We humans messed up putting Gimlet at risk. We think he was picked up by a kind soul since there are fresh tire marks in the grass in front of our home. If you are caring for him we can’t thank you enough. Please let us know if you can help him get home. I loved my dad and am hoping he is watching out for Gimlet.

Your caring about him and me, a total stranger, is heartwarming. Things happen for a reason and Gimlet, through becoming lost, has led me to help others in these same ways and through starting to volunteer with animal welfare organizations. I thank him and all of you for guiding me to do something meaningful for animals and the humans who love them. Please continue your good work of watching out for all lost pets and thank you for watching out for Gimlet. Gimlet turns 12, has medical problems for which he takes meds, and is likely to get more medical problems over the next 2-3 years. If you find him, we want to care for him in his elderly years. We will be forever grateful to you for help in returning him home.
