FOUND CAT: This little kitty has been visiting my porch to eat the food I leave for the neighborhood feral kitty. Ive been seeing her on my doorbell camera every night for about a week or two. She eats a lot and for a long time each visit. I thought she was feral since every time I've tried to approach her she darts away like wild, but upon taking her to Smokys this morning to get her fixed and vaccinated, they discovered she already is and microchipped. They have been trying to contact the owner via the number associated with her chip with no luck so far. Maybe they're at work, or maybe they changed their number. So they gave me the go ahead to post a "found cat" notice to help spread the word. Ill be making posters to put up if this doesn't work. She is on a stray hold with the rescue she was originally adopted from the next 10 days as they try to get ahold of her owner. I am sure she is very missed, and I hope this reaches them so she can go home.
