Lindais Backanator Thank you. I have her posted on Facebook, Instagram, PawBoost and Nextdoor. I'm going to give it a few days to try and find their owner before taking her to a shelter.

Barbara Brienen any vet or firestation can scan for a chip it’s free. There are a few missing black cats posts on pawboost. One was named Gary. Also post on nextdoor for neighbors as he may live close by and maybe put up a found poster on birch t cardstock with photo in the area

Barbara Brienen yes take to the shelter. The ABQ shelter on Lomas is no in regards to cats only. Dogs are a different story. The cat will get vetted and the owner can find the cat there.
