Report to animal control as lost immediately, check with animal control daily after first disappearance and as often as possible even after three days (feline strays held for only three days), update microchip information if you have one and if it’s possible. Report to Pawboost (who could use some help) at Facebook https://www.pawboost.com/fb/lexington_ky , put out bedding and the used litter box. Scent can help them find the way home.
