Message from Owner

We are really worried. It was inside a 12 floor cndmnium, we think maybe he jump and survived? He was habituated to a 20 floor balcony, so maybe 12 floor seemed to him not that high. Maybe someone took it from the corridor as we were moving there?. It is impossible he can leave the building in another way.

Please place his bedding outside, along with the owner's unwashed clothing front and back door with a can of tuna on each entrance, you can leave your garage door a bit open as well. In case it comes in that way. And leaving food there as well. Also vacuumed home dirt in a stocking hanging it in front and back of home enterence . Show your neighbors a picture of the cat. Ten houses to the left ten house to the right front and back if they spot him to give you a call immediately. Go early in the morning and shake treats calling the cats name when things are quiet.. Best of luck finding your kitty 🙏 ❤️🏡🐾

Open a Lost Cat Report with the SPCA via spca.com His photo will then be posted on the SPCA site. Provide good photos taken face view and close. Save his soiled cat litter box. Sprinkle some of her soiled litter on the side of your stairs and on the earth of the shrubs that you share with immediate neighbors. You can also put some on aluminum foil sheets, cup them and place in the bushes on your property. The familiar scent will attract him.

These steps must be done right away and must be done everyday 🙏 Place a bit of his soiled litter outside in front of the condominium, not the full litter box (sheltered from the rain, so not to get it wet). But leave it out only during the day, do not leave it outside when it gets dark and not overnight. It may attract other animals. You should also place a blanket or a piece of clothing with his scent on it outside as well. He may be able to smell his own scent and find his way back home 🤞 Put out his food and a water bowl, in the same place everyday. You want him to stay close by. But don’t leave the food out when it’s dark, bring it back inside. You need to go out looking for him early mornings and late nights, calling his name and bring his favorite treats. He must be scared and hiding close by. But don’t walk too far from your home, you don’t want him to follow the sound of your voice and be that much further away from home. You want him to stay close by 🤞 Tell neighbors to look out for him, to check under and inside their sheds, garages, under balconies, etc… I would strongly suggest to ask your neighbours if you can go in their backyards and check for your cat yourself. Someone lost their cat and found her weeks later stuck inside a Cabano, not alive 😔 And very important to put up flyers in and around the area (for people not on FB). Even place them inside mailboxes. You should open a missing cat file with the Montreal SPCA and with ProAnima Montreal. If your cat is found and brought there, they will contact you. Also, join Petluck Group and post him on that group as well: https://www.facebook.com/groups/Petluck/?ref=share
