Cats don’t usually go more than a few houses away in any direction. They often hide during the day and come out at dark when they feel safer. Look for him then, calling softly and possibly rattling a treat container if he likes those. Check under cars and bushes. Do talk with neighbors and post his picture! Also, put his litter box on your porch, along with an article of your clothing with your scent on it. Crack a window nearby so that you can hear him when he comes back. If you put out food, stay close by in case other animals come for it and frighten him away. Check with local shelters in person, because they may not recognize him as you would. Don’t give up! Sometimes this takes several days. I hope you find him!
