Update: Microchip scan done 8/30, sadly no chip found, intact male, less than a year old. I found this beautiful young cat outside in the bushes today. He was very friendly and comfortable around people, so I believe may be someone’s lost pet. It was not afraid of my dogs and was curious about them, although would hiss if they got too close. I brought the kitty inside to keep her safe, and has been doing really well. The kitty was wearing a collar, but it appeared to be more like a costume/jewelry-type collar rather than a standard pet collar. There was no identification tag on it, and unfortunately, it was much too tight, so I removed it for safety. If you believe this is your cat, please message me with a description of the collar the cat was wearing, including the type, colors, and any other distinguishing detail, as well as any other identifying information you can provide. I want to make sure the kitty goes back to its rightful family. I currently have the cat safely inside and separated from my other pets. If I am unable to locate the owner, I will be taking it to Humane Colorado today to have her scanned for a microchip.
