Found in my backyard this morning, no collar. Hungry and skinny, I put food and water out and he/she devoured 2 bowls of cat food, then laid in the shade. Won't let me get close. Been staying in the woods behind my hse I believe.

You need to borrow a trap from someone. Then take him to the Shelter to be scanned for a chip. Thanks for helping him.

please call Virginia Beach Animal Control at 757-385-4444. They will keep the animal safe, with a nice kennel and blanket, fed and watered and they’ll be warm and comforted regularly. They will do their best to reunite it with its family.
