Found this cat sitting by the corner of B&Q tonight. Very friendly, wearing a green collar with a small green bell. I watched from a distance for around 50 minutes. The cat stayed in exactly the same spot by the side of the road, repeatedly looking towards the surrounding roads and traffic but not walking off in any direction. Each time I approached, it came over immediately, rubbing against me and being extremely friendly. I walked away several times to see whether it would head home, but whenever I returned, it had gone back to the exact same spot. I pass this area daily and have never seen a cat around there, particularly late at night. It looked healthy and lively, but seemed lost or unsure which direction to go. I did not feel comfortable leaving it beside the road, so I have taken it home temporarily for safety. It has food, water and litter, and I will take it to a vet tomorrow to have its microchip scanned. Please comment or message me if you recognise it or know who the owner might be.
