Izzy has been found! At 6am this morning a neighbor heard barking and called. A group of family members rushed back to the area & one was about 10mins ahead of the others in on the trail while whistling and Izzy ran of the dark woods into his arms. He’s on his way home, a bit hungry, but seems to be no worse off after this scary adventure. Thank you all for the suggestions, spreading the word and well wishes you sent his way. 🥰

Izzy has been found! At 6am this morning a neighbor heard barking and called. A group of family members rushed back to the area & one hiked about 10mins ahead of the others on the trail where he was lost (in the dark) while whistling and Izzy ran into his arms. He’s home, a bit hungry and tired, but seems to be no worse off after this scary adventure. Thank you all for the suggestions and well wishes you sent his way. 🥰

I know they’re a dog and pet finding services that utilize drones. That may be a good way to find him, especially if he’s in the woods and not near residential areas. You can also try Buddha rescue! From what I’ve seen on Facebook, they do amazing work

Praying you find your baby. Beagles are smart hoping that you can put a blanket or your clothes in the area he was last seen he may just come back and stay there. I would not put food you do not want to attract coyotes or any other wild animals. This just recently happened to someone who was fostering a beagle from our shelter but it was at their home. The beagle made it back to the clothes & blankets that were left outside. . I always found it helpful if you have flyers to put one on the back windshield of your car. Many people will read it at stoplights and make them aware.
