If able, try posting on your local Nextdoor app (if possible), lost .petcolove .org and watching craigslist. If you post to other groups, be sure to add the county, city and state to your posting since the posting may be shared nationally. Also, take flyers to shelters and vet offices with a photo and report the pet found. They have a board for both lost and found pets. Remember, not everyone is on Social Media. IF able, try taking to a vet to check for a microchip too. Be sure to ask for proof of ownership by either vet records or a picture from the phone.
