Esther Jolly I emailed the owner through the Paw Boost site and have not heard anything back. I notified staff at the shelter about this post by Mocos owner. This site seems like a waist if you can't get in touch with the owner. The shelter can't hold him forever waiting for the owner to finally get the message that their dog is there. He was still there today unclaimed.

Just an update for everyone: The owner has not responded to my email. As of 12:11pm today, he is still at AA Co. Animal Services. They named him “DOS” over there. AA Co. Animal Services has, also, reached out to the owner via PawBoost email. I emailed PawBoost support and they sent me this in response: “Unfortunately, we don’t have any additional information about the person who posted the pet ID# 72613406 beyond what’s listed in the PawBoost alert. However, we see that you’ve reached out to them. We’ve contacted them on your behalf, shared your message, and encouraged them to get in touch with you directly. We understand how important this is and truly hope it leads to a positive outcome. We will let you know right away if we hear back from them.” Sweet boy is almost home. Just waiting on the owners to respond. 🤞

Donna Darling thank you for the heads up. I went ahead and messaged pawboost support since both the shelter and myself have tried reaching out to the owner with no response.

Donna Darling the owner has not claimed the dog yet and I have not received a response yet. However, AA Co services is aware of the PawBoost ad out for Moco and are trying to make contact as well. Let’s hope for the best!

Donna Darling No. Not yet. I am going to call AA animal services later today to see if the owner picked up the dog. Pawboost’s FAQ page says if the owner has not responded in 24-48 hours, then to reach out to their support. Their support will do everything they can to facilitate contact. I will contact pawboost’s support tomorrow if Moco is still at the shelter. For now, I just need people to like this Facebook post to keep it relevant. I’m hoping Moco’s owner sees it.

Did the owner ever get back to the person who found this sweet pup? Or did they pick up at the shelter?
