If you find him PLEASE call me! He snuck out the door today at noon and it is now almost 7:30pm-BY FAR the longest he's ever been away from home. He's sweet and loving but will bolt if he's scared. He is very much loved and missed, please help me bring my Sammy home!!!

Make flyers and hand them out to your neighbors. Some people will keep a cat they find - they think someone who would "let their cat out" doesn't deserve to have it, and they don't think about how easy it is for a kitty escape artist to slip out. You will be letting everyone know that you're kitty GOT out and you're very concerned and want them back home and safe. Ask everyone to help keep an eye out and call you if they see your kitty. Also, put up flyers in any common areas in your apt complex - laundry rooms, mailbox kiosks. Check daily to make sure your flyer is still up, and replace it if needed. Good luck, and DON'T give up! đź«‚

I'm so sorry that Sam is missing. Often they haven't gone far from the point of last seen so check with ALL of your neighbors!! Research shows that most cats are found within a 6 block radius of the point of last seen. Please ask your neighbors to check their sheds, garages, window wells, under porches, etc. anywhere he may have inadvertently been trapped. It's possible someone took him in thinking that he was a stray. Consider putting missing flyers in your neighborhood. Also check online at the found cats at the NoCo Humane Society. https://www.nocohumane.org/lost-found-pets/stray-cats-2/ Check daily because they are only on a stray hold for a short time before they can be adopted by others. Look for him and call for him after it gets dark (around 9pm currently) and around dawn (around 5am currently) as that's when they move about. I've heard that they try to return the same way they left so if you can leave a garage door, window, etc. open. If he's microchipped, make sure that your contact information connected to his chip registration is correct! There are mixed opinions on putting out their litterbox. Put out a piece of your clothing and one of his blankets. I've seen scammers replying to lost pet posts saying that they have found the lost pet. If you have to respond by messenger it is a scam. Praying that Sam is home soon ❤️🙏 Here's a helpful resource: https://youtu.be/g2eCoC63B9I?si=nfyOzi00hC5SNFV

Get out calling Kitty's name especially early and late when it's quiet. Search for the flashlight high and low. Put up posters with number large enough to be seen while driving. And post on nextdoor com
