If Emma is not used to being outside she is frightened & hiding close by. Put something out with her/your scent on it such as blanket, clothes, toys. Ask to look in neighbors yards, garages & sheds as some times doors are left open & I've read posts where 3 pets were found in a garage. Look where items might be accumulated outside, in thick shrubs & bushes & in drainage pipes as these are great hiding spots. Cats can hide in the smallest of places so don't overlook anything. Don't give up hope. I've read posts were cats were found by someone or they returned home on their own after being gone for days, weeks & yes months & they were close by. Prayers to Sts. Anthony & Francis that beautiful Emma will be back home with you soon.
