Thank you for caring for and feeding this cat you found. One small suggestion: please don’t feed cats directly from an open can. The sharp edges can easily cut their lips or tongue, which can lead to painful injuries and possible infection. If you can, transfer the food to a plate, bowl, or even a paper plate instead.

You can also call 311 to request an officer to come to your home to scan the cat for a microchip.
