Reminds me of one lost about a year ago with lots of social coverage. I can't think of it's name. It had a black nose.

If you have not done so already: Go to any animal shelter, vet clinic or 24 hour pet hospital to get it scanned for a microchip for free. Be sure they scan thoroughly several times including legs since microchips can migrate. General Reminders We Remind Everyone: •By Virginia law, you cannot give away someone’s pet. A report must be filed with the closest animal shelter. After the waiting period is over, the pet may be placed with a new home. It may take longer than a few weeks for owners to find their pets. We highly recommend letting shelters or animal rescue groups handle re-homing. •File a free initial report with PawBoost (dot) com — Once you get to the pricing page, you can stop. The free Pawboost alert has already been created. Check your email for messages. •File reports with several area animal shelters in a wider area, filing a report with an animal shelter is required by law within 48 hours. Filing a report does not mean you have to bring the pet into the shelter unless you cannot keep the pet for safe holding. It is in case of anyone looking for their lost pet. You cannot rehome a pet unless you have tried in good faith to locate the owner. •Upload photos to Lost (dot) PetcoLove (dot) org for facial recognition software to help match to photos of lost and found pets •Make a post on NextDoor and Neighbors by Ring (free neighborhood apps), and post flyers around the area since some people are not on social media. Please note that owners may speak other languages, may have had a medical emergency, may not be tech savvy enough to search for pets online, may be traveling and the pet was under the care of a pet sitter and may be unaware that their pet is lost. 🚨Please require proof of ownership if someone tries to claim the pet (other photos or videos of or with the pet, pet license, description of unique birth marks, pet’s gender, verified adoption papers, etc). Some people falsely claim pets to resell or abuse them. Please always transport the pet in a pet carrier or with a leash if possible so that the pet does not get lost again in an unfamiliar area. Thank you for caring! Despite what some shelters may say, please do *not* put the pet back outside
