Do NOT open the garage door. Call for kitty calmly in the garage now and today...Call me today 650-339-6619 if you opened your garage THEN he could have escaped . Hopefully you have kept the garage closed - he IS in there - order this mini blink camera it will arrive TODAY so you can set it up AIMED at the wet food you place in the garage for your sweet Tigger: https://a.co/d/09s8cJ0G 🐱 INDOOR-ONLY CATS who are let out in a new location like the garage - they find the 1st place to HIDE and HUNKER DOWN in SILENCE. Kitty is SCARED in survival mode and meowing would give away their location to predators. Scared Cats in a foreign environment will often NOT meow - though Kitty needs to hear your voice. Kitty May come forward on your 40th or 400th call! Be patient. Scared cats are the best hiders. Use the camera aimed at food ...can you place your other pets in your bedroom then leave the garage door leaading into the house OPEN so kitty runs back into the house today? I've had to humanely trap a cat inside a house in the basement - it took 5 nights for the cat to come out for food on cameara the food was refreshed daily - that's how scared the cat was,,,,then we set the trap (COVER the trap partially with a blanket) kitty was trapped and we brought him back inside in the bedroom bathroom....

The are the best hiders - do NOT open the garage - call for him calmly and put out fresh food and water - he's SCARED and hiding - just had surgery, he was placed in a new SCARY environment and the 4th of JULY fireworks - he is THERE likekly just stil HIDING and scared...call for him calmly over and over - get a mini blink camera aimed at the food station...you will find him

He is likely HIDING - it's very scary to CHANGE the environment after surgery - do not open the garage - place wet food and level out the litter box to see if the food or box gets used - get a camera aimed by tonight at the food so you can see if he comes out to eat or not... 🚨🚨🚨WARNING🚨🚨🚨 SCAMMERS will claim they found your cat! Or will tell you about a (FAKE) INSTAGRAM Pet recovery service they used - OR WILL SHOW YOU an AI (FAKE) photo of your cat - these are SCAMMERS!!! SCAMMERS will text you saying they’re affiliated with Pawboost or an ANIMAL SHELTER and that they HAVE YOUR CAT and that YOU need to PROVE who you are by giving other phone numbers, your email, verifying google codes etc or to send money to get your cat from the shelter. These are all SCAMMERS! THEY WON'T Send you a PHOTO of your cat (they'll make up any excuse) OR THEY'LL SEND a PHOTO of a similar cat OR AN AI FAKE PHOTO - or a blurry video - but it’s not your cat! Look closely. Google the photo they send it could be a photo they stole from the internet. Please know that If your actual neighbor sees or has your cat they will give you information freely (and will post a PHOTO on your listing and not make you ‘send a code or personal information or money. 🚨🚨🚨There’s a NEW SCAM they will call you saying they are animal care and control and that your cat was brought in but got hit by a car and needs an operating then they will ask you for payment - THIS IS A SCAM!!!! Animal care and control would NEVER ask for money 🚨🚨🚨 ASK TO FACETIME ANYONE WHO CLAIMS TO HAVE YOUR CAT (TO PROVE THEY HAVE YOUR CAT) AND THEY ARE ASKING YOU FOR A $ REWARD. SCAMMERS are the ONLY PEOPLE WHO ASK FOR A REWARD. 🚨🚨🚨There’s a NEW SCAM on Facebook the scammer will say something like ‘my husband found your cat or your cat was hit by a car please message me your phone number and send $ “ meaning they want you to message them from your Facebook messenger your phone number! 🚨🚨🚨The Facebook SCAMMER will tell you to look up a lost cat search team they used on Instagram or another platform saying their cat was found within hours -it’s a total SCAM. LOOK AT THEIR FACEBOOK PROFILE - you may see many (PAID) followers but they are not following anyone, The profile will have a few photos only, usually just selfies and the profile was created not long ago. You will see no posts / conversations with friends , I report the account to Facebook Scammers are heartless

I’m so sorry your sweet kitty is missing. Have you already put out something with your scent like a dirty shirt or blanket that you use? Cats have stronger noses than dogs so it may help him find his way home. If he an indoor kitty he will be close to home hunkered down. He will find the smallest space to fit in if he’s scared. Get his favorite food and call him. He might not come out the first night out of fear. Try again the next day. It took one of my cats 3 days to come out of his hiding place. He could hear me but was too scared to move or meow. Please clink on this link she has helped find hundreds of missing cats www.happycatlady.com Also notify your city pound/ human society in case they have her or received a call. Keep calling him at all hours especially the odd hours at night and early morning when it’s quiet. He might not be far away, just too scared to move if something’s spooked him. Cats are excellent at hiding in small spaces. Check with neighbors and post flyers in case someone has brought her inside. It’s recommended to use a camera/ring motion sensor thing to capture the cat eating with a trap, but only when you can watch the camera due to predators . I had two cats (different cats different decades) get out & both times they were super close to home just a few feet away, but scared stiff and chose to hunker down even though they could hear me. So keep looking & maybe knock in a couple doors in case kitty’s trapped. They do love to explore and sometimes that ends up with them being lost or trapped. Also check the surrounding buildings including their attics. Talk to the maintenance men. A while back someone found their cat after several weeks bcs kitty was in an attic of another building & the maintenance man found the cat. Post on Nextdoor there are some really nice neighbors willing to help find lost pets. I hope he waltz’s in like nothings wrong.
