Put something outside that strongly has your scent on it, like a sweatshirt or gym socks, so he can follow your scent home. Go looking outside with a flashlight at dawn or dusk when it's quiet and see if you can find the twinkle of his eyes, shake some kibble or bring his favorite food. Check to trees, down storm drains, anywhere he might have gotten stuck. Post flyers at your mailbox, local shelters, vet offices, pet stores, etc., you can even leave leaflets at your neighbors doors, and online at Pawboost or Nextdoor.
