Please place his bedding outside, along with the owner's unwashed clothing front and back door with a can of tuna on each entrance, you can leave your garage door a bit open as well. In case it comes in that way. And leaving food there as well. Also vacuumed home dirt in a stocking hanging it in front and back of home enterence . Show your neighbors a picture of the cat. Ten houses to the left ten house to the right front and back if they spot him to give you a call immediately. Go early in the morning and shake treats calling the cats name when things are quiet.. Best of luck finding your kitty 🙏 ❤️🐾🏡...

Get your flyers up! Do not rely on social media alone, most of my missing animals come home, because of physical flyers! I do 8X11 in the immediate area 4 per block, the bigger the area 3 per block and so on. I've had the most success with the 4 per page mini handouts of the same flyer. I will give these to the Mailman, UPS, Fedex, Garbage man, Gas stations, Grocery stores. Also fluorescent backgrounds at major intersections 8X11 or bigger. Also law enforcement and animal control. More than likely, it's not going to be your eyeballs. That bring your pet home. Also not everybody has social media. So we need as much help as we can get from the community. So make it easy for them to get a hold of you. and remember the harder you work, the luckier you get! I hope these suggestions help you get your animal home soon and safe. 😉

For those of us who don’t know every street in Salem, add the direction after the street name: S, SE, W, NE or N. Put up flyers ASAP with w/ Benito’s photo, your contact information, and a note asking folks to check for him in their garages, shops, crawlspaces and Ring phones. Go out early or late with a flashlight, and call his name softly. Look in bushes, culverts, and way up trees — anywhere he might have gone to escape from a dog or coyote. Contact nearby shelters and vets to see if he’s been brought in to check for a chip, or been turned in there. Post on Nextdoor to reach the many local people who don’t use Facebook. Nextdoor helped friends and us locate our missing pets when no other site did. Best of luck finding him.
