Linda Allen Please don't tell people to do this. It can put their cat in danger. Did you know that some coyote hunters use used cat litter as coyote bait? And if you put a litter box outside, neighborhood cats may mark it as THEIR territory, and may attack or intimidate the missing cat. Better to put out food, water, and a hiding place for the cat to shelter in.
