What kind of bed? Wouldn't it get wet in the rain? I wish I had more time to spend with him. It takes so much patience and a long time, depending on how feral they are. I will check out Alley Cat Allies. Thank you for your support.

I put a cat bed out under a window, hoping the feral cat would use it. I peaked out the window that night and saw the other one (the one who had been out for a year) using it. That was the day I decided to catch him, too. I had 3 strays in one month. So, maybe he would use a bed. The cat houses may make him feel trapped. If you can afford it, you can also get heated ones for outdoor cats. Definitely contact Alley Cat Allies. They gave me lots of suggestions. And keep me posted. You are wonderful to help him.

I'm not sure if he would get along with my cats, but if they all got along I would keep him. I did make progress tonight, he is on the porch out of the rain!!

Heartbreaking. One of mine was out on his own for at least a year. A neighbor was feeding him but I finally got him. I kept trying to get him on a cat carrier but he'd get out or it would break. Finally, one day I just picked him up and he was fine. The one I had to lure in was a young feral. If you catch him, would you keep him?

Maybe I will contact them. I just wish someone would come and get him. So far he isn't using the houses. Last weekend he was getting soaked in the rain, and more rain is coming today.
