Thank you so much for helping this sweet baby. Please require proof of ownership. Some people have very bad intentions especially with this breed. There is a dog fighting in Indianapolis claiming strays

Shawn Re-Nee Anderson Borjas Thank you so much. At least you are keeping him from dying today. Sometimes all you can do is trust that animal control will treat them kindly and get them help. I know the shelter is full of wonderful dogs and most are pits or pit mixes but you are doing what you can. Obviously all those people with cars that almost hit him turned a blind eye to his predicament. Hopefully he is chipped and the owner’s info is current and they will claim him and get him to a vet and keep him contained in future.

I'm waiting on indy humane to help me pick him up.Because I couldn't leave him there. He would have been hit.So he is safe for now, but I have three big dogs in there.I have to keep them.I can't let them out right now.So i'm waiting for someone to call me to come pick him up, but he is safe here for now.And he smells good. He's so clean.I know somebody's looking for him.I just don't know whether or not you know on these sights yet

Are you able to take him to any vet and have him scanned for a microchip? Any vet will do this for free or you can contact IACS and tell them he is injured (eyes) and have him picked up..at least he will be off the street. He may have a foreign body on his eyes or a chemical irritant rather than allergies. Poor dog. Thanks for trying to help him.
