Message from Owner

Blu is an inside outside cat. She is newer to the neighborhood between Emerson and San Filippo Closer to Waco, she went outside Tuesday night and has not come back. She does have her claws. She is a little bit on the heftier side and she is not as feisty as she used to be due to her age. She does not have her collar or bell on any more And the last time she did this, she was hiding across the street in the woods. We have checked neighbors backyards, garages and sheds and have not found her. Please keep an eye out for her.

Get bright colored posters for making signs from Dollar stores or Walmart. Get this up asap at intersections and put one in your yard. These are the number #1 tool for reuniting pets as not everyone is on social media or know about these sites. Also quickly print up fliers and pass out to area neighbors & give one to your mail carrier & nearby vets. ✅ pet signs Suggestions on signs. “We cannot emphasize this enough - SIGNS are one of the best ways to locate a Lost Pet or Find An Owner.” https://www.missinganimalresponse.com/neon-posters/

Leave your garage door up just enough that your cat can safely get back inside

Please also have your neighbors check their outside security cameras to see what area your pet may be seen in.

Go outside every evening and early morning shaking cat treats, clanging food bowls calling for your kitty. At night use a flashlight( this will reflect their eyes if hiding) to check shrubbery, hedges, lower tree limbs, and around anything your cat could hide under. Be sure to have your neighbors check their garages, sheds, under car hoods, etc.

I hope she makes her way home soon. I’d like to suggest that you put out a blanket or her bed that smells like her or something that that smells like you like a pair of pajamas or shorts or something. Cats have a strong sense of smell, and that will help lead her home maybe once it’s dark
