Is there any chance this could be your dog? Itโ€™s all the way on 184th st and 157 someone couldโ€™ve dimpled him there

Beware of scammers. They always troll the lost pet sites and prey on people who have lost their pet

This is general information on finding a lost pet. Put some of your worn clothing & your dog's bed or blanket out for scent. See if any neighbors have outside camera's. It may help in seeing which way your dog was heading when lost. Check under any bushes, porches, sheds, vehicle's..etc & check any window wells in the area in case your dog fell in and can't get out. Ask neighbors to check outside by their dryer vent area in case your dog tries to get warm by laying underneath it. Check over any hillsides, ditches & embankments. Some dog's that climb down find it difficult to get back out. Check any water sources in the area as in pond's, creeks..etc. Dog's are naturally drawn to water. If chipped contact the chip company to report missing & make sure all your information is correct with them. Notify the Police & Animal control in case anyone has reported to them about your dog being seen/found. Check the Shelter in person every couple days to look over the dog's and drop off a flyer while there. Notify any Shelter's in adjoining Counties in case someone picked up your dog while driving through your area and took it to another area. Sadly that does happen. Get flyers out ASAP with a photo of your pet, your phone number & add "DO NOT CHASE" & "CALL WITH ANY SIGHTINGS ". You can put them in gallon Ziploc bags with the opening at the bottom to protect from bad weather. Ask local pizza places..etc if they can hand some out with their deliveries. Give a flyer to your mail carrier, School bus drivers & any other delivery drivers you may see in your area. You can also hand them out to the kids on the bus. Pass them out to your neighbors & maybe drop some off at your local Fire Department. You can hand them out to people as they come out of your local grocery store. If you have a Laundromat close by see if they have a bulletin board that you can post a flyer on. Keep a close eye on Craigslist. Unfortunately sometimes cruel people that find a missing pet may try to sell it. I hope your dog is found soon ๐Ÿ™

Post on NextDoor, pawboost, and neighbors.ring, hang bilingual flyers, and put out articles of unwashed clothing and the petโ€™s bed. Ask neighbors to check their Ring cameras, garages, and sheds. Check shelters in person. If not already done, have your pet microchipped as soon as youโ€™re reunited. If already chipped, call the microchip company to report pet lost and make sure your contact information is correct. Report lost on 24petconnect. If someone posts โ€œWe foundโ€ and asks for your phone number, donโ€™t respond; itโ€™s a scam. Same if they want to send you a code. Beware of sites people recommend that find lost pets; many are scammers

Ideally split searched if you can- 1 person on foot (checking under cars and bushes) and another driving. ๐Ÿ’” Donโ€™t forget to leave your phone number with anyone you speak with on the street, just in case your pet is spotted after youโ€™ve spoken๐Ÿ’” Post to Community Specific Apps like Nextdoor and Neighbors. More people in your particular area will see your posts. ๐Ÿ’” Report as missing to your Miami Dade Animal Services (can do it online- scroll down the link to see the report button)๐Ÿ’” https://www.miamidade.gov/global/service.page?Mduid_service=ser1599347990362966 Post to Community Specific Apps like Nextdoor and Neighbors.
