I took him to a vet and they found no chip. They took extra time to scan throughout his body in case it had shifted. Also said they were using a universal scanner that works with all chips. Thanks for the great tips. I googled what resources were available around Waukesha and have bow posted and searched on several sites. I'll continue to pursue finding his family.

Thank u for helping. You are that kitty’s sweet angel! Maybe it’s last hope ❤️Thank u so much for your kindness.. Maybe put flyers up in neighborhood? A lot of people let their cats out at night and are not strays but pets… we have 3 nightly visitor cats in our yard who are pets to people… Or please take to an animal shelter . Have them scan for a chip… I think veterinary offices and humane societies will do a microchip scan for free! WHAT A CUTE KITTY❤️
