Message from Finder

Hi this sweet baby followed me home in south Minneapolis on the DuPont Ave block between 26th and 27th street. She is very loving and affectionate. Must be someone’s pet. She in my home, well fed and safe. Looks like she is about to have kittens.

UPDATE. UPDATE Rid has been apprehended and returned to his confines! In typical manner for his highly social nature, he followed a person to their home just two blocks away, and made himself at home until being collected today and now permanently fitted with his tracking collar, just in case he attempts to slip out again. Although principally an indoor cat, as a former stray and a Bombay, his nature is to get out and go walkabout. At least now, if he does get out, he'll be tracked. Thank you to all who posted concerns, and especially to Tess who took him in. The system apparently works! Cheers.

I’m pretty certain it’s a female. I could be wrong but she sure looks pregnant.

s are slightly pronounced. I don’t know of rescues with mommas but I will definitely research it! Thanks for the advice.

Can you see her s? Do they look pronounced? I worry about Pyometra. Please call rescues experienced with mommas and kittens if needed. Thank you for keeping her safe 🙏 💕

Thank you for helping this beautiful little soul! You can get the baby checked for a microchip for free at most vet clinics or the humane society. Please put in a safe spare room to keep away from all the dangers outside, such as bad weather, coyotes, owls, eagles, raccoons, dogs, poisons, disease, traps, cars, and bad humans! Please don't give to just anyone because there are cruel people out there that get pets for horrible reasons like dogfighting bait and other sickening things! Make sure that anyone who tries to claim the cat has absolute proof of records or receipts, photos, videos, and can identify specific markings, personality, voice, etc!

o and thank you to the person who had this escape artist follow you home! This is very typical behavior for him, and from the photo I'd say the chances are good it is him. I have messaged you through Pawboost and will gladly provide any information you may wish to confirm his identity, etc. Please message me or use the number I provided through Pawboost. Bless you, and thank you again. It will be the last time he doesn't have his tracker on.

You are blessed. Thank you so much for bringing this beautiful kitty in and you can see how relaxed she is with you and how she must feel so safe. Such a good feeling for her, you must have a way with kitties. Maybe you will be able to keep her. If anybody comes forward, please require at least three solid proofs of ID before you give her to anyone. With all these terrible shenanigans going on with people wanting small animals for dog bait and other bad things. We have to protect our sweet little animals. Thank you again 🩷
