He was coming in a horse trailer towards Shelbyville. They stopped at a gas station to give the horses water, and that's where he got lost. He's friendly.

Search at night with a flashlight (eyes will glow) up in trees and inside and under things on your property and up to three or four houses away. Cats normally stay pretty close to home. You can put something with the smell of the cat, or the scent of home, out on the porch. Put up missing cat posters, check with your neighbors, post on all local social media groups, and check with animal control every week. Leave your garage door up enough to allow the cat entry. You can also try searching early morning, before dawn, calling his/her name and carrying and open can of tuna or cat food. Hunger sometimes lures them out of hiding. Don't forget to check places like crawl spaces, garages, and sheds.

Is there a town or county info to share? Tennessee is a pretty broad range. I think people could be more helpful with looking and sharing if we knew an area.
