I hate it when I mess up these things yeah looking for a air tip orange cat you did not find one yours is missing with this left snipped ear now I got it.
You know a lot of people are going to go you need to get off this site but I've had a cat that's been on Paw boost for over a year and be a year this March the 3rd and the problem is even after a year I still look for her.
And I have her on that site I have her on the Paw boost and she's on the lost and found Pinellas County which is a private group which is kind of useless as far as I'm concerned,
The day she went missing it was 10:30 at night so I had to wait till next day to try and find her unfortunately all the senses were down from Hurricane Milton so I think she had like a straight shot but because my cat was healthy looking a friendly I think somebody took her grand no she didn't have a chip but I run a sanctuary it's a privacy sanctuary here in St Petersburg and I had 23 cats at the time.
Why am I telling you this it's very helpful when I'm going to say I just wish that I knew what I know now but
When a person puts their missing cat or dog on that one site Paw boost it doesn't matter what ZIP code or what close the address to the cat went missing you're never going to see your own cat in that same zip code because for some reason you're only going to see what they email you monthly cats from 10-15 miles away from where your cat actually went missing I do not know how they're doing that but it's too late now for me because she's still gone even though I have done everything in my power to try to put the information out I messed up but I didn't have any help I'm not giving as much information of where my kitty went missing I mean I went as far as not putting my full address in but I put my boundaries I put the street The avenues between the two houses I mean everything but I kept saying my zip code for some reason my ZIP code was just being put out to the universe not anywhere with anybody could find her.
I just got another email today is Lili still missing and I still put I don't know what she's at.
Like I said she's not microchipped I don't think it matters sometimes but that's beside the point I did this and I'm hoping I can share this with other people but depending on where your cat went missing from that's when you need to get and call as many veterinarians there are 5 to 10 mile radius from your home including any veterinarians that are emergency veterinarians that are open during the daytime that's one thing I didn't know it's too late now but I'm sharing that now to other people.
Even if a cat is taking some place and having microchip believe it or not the place they take it cannot and will not share with the person that brought the cat in to have them check for microchip they are not allowed to give that nice person that brought that cat in to check for microchip the information who the owner is really s, if you take a cat in to an area that does not do boarding that animal will only stay in that facility that organization you take it to till 3:00 p.m. then that animal is transported to Pinellas County Animal Services were all considered Strays go it's not a bad thing don't get me misunderstood.
But all Strays whether they somebody goes to Pinellas County Humane society or somebody goes and takes a cat to SPCA or a numbers of it they still considered a stray all Strays must start at Pinellas County Animal Services.
I know that because I've had this rescue cats with the same left ear snip because they were part of the program for the Trap and release and I am there trapping release caregiver. But this cat was an inside cat and had been when I took her off the streets in 2019.
Unfortunately not everybody understands that chipped ears are allowed to roam freely without repercussions so hopefully you cast that far I've seen people find that the cat has found a nice Bush to go underneath sometimes they go to other neighbors it but it doesn't hurt to go to the website for Pinellas County Animal Services they have a section just for animals who been brought in because they're not sure where their owner is they are not put out for adoptions until things isn't 10 or 15 day window they will try to find the owners then but they do not put these animals to sleep cuz that's not what they're there for and therefore just to find the owners I tell people don't panic
I think I covered most of the things I try to tell people oh one more thing in your neighborhood where you live does anybody feed Colony Cats or do they anybody feeds Strays cassette in my neighborhood I have a lot of feeders people will feed cats that have been trapped and released but then didn't stay at the caregiver where they were picked up at but I have a lot of neighbors who feed so I just kind of got The feelers out in my neighborhood and asked everybody and I showed a picture of my cat that's missing and all the people that feed cats have not seen her so I think she's inside I would like to think that.
A friendly cat and a healthy cat most likely will be taken inside I think I covered everything oh I will pray for you stay positive get out there and holler I mean how are your guts out cuz you may not find a cat but you might find a neighbor who's willing to find out who the heck's out there hollering, I have a high-pitched voice anyways I must have met neighbors I haven't met when I first moved in 21 years ago this is the way you get to find cats and find your cat get out there and meet your neighbors good luckRead More

Yes I noticed that too most likely is part of a colony or somebody has adopted him or whatever the gender is just friendly they're allowed to roam and have rights to the county.
Well as the county says if they're healthy and friendly leave alone don't go home but you can always leave it and give him a treat or twoRead More
