Linda Trevillian We are planning on doing that later today (getting him checked for chips). We don't have dogs, so I don't have a leash or harness. But yeah, I've posted him to Ring and Nextdoor.

Take the pup to a veterinary hospital or shelter to be scanned for a microchip. If he’s chipped and owner contact information is current with the registry, staff will contact the owner(s) to arrange for pickup. Post on Nextdoor and the Neighbors app/RING to help reach the largest number of your closest neighbors. Share on Lostmydoggie.com and Petharbor.com, both of which, like Pawboost, have separate pages for lost and found pets. Check back at all of these sites daily. Post fliers around your neighborhood; take some to veterinary hospitals and shelters , and check back often. I’ve read that if you walk a found dog around the neighborhood, someone might recognize him/her and know where he/she lives. Some dogs will actually lead you to their home on a walk. Thanks for your kindness. Best of luck.
