Description

I just seen Picture. He’s a gray black. He’s probably 9 to 10 months old and no shots. I know device implanted no collar except for a green collar that says paws on it. He is very afraid of everything and I’m just bringing him out of his shell and he is going to a good home. Everything will be taken care of for him. He never runs away from the hse. He’s always if I call back here in five minutes he loves to stay in the hse and does go out and eat night, but he went missing about 2 o’clock this afternoon. I wasn’t here and I think he got scared because my sister’s game with the dog I had two small dogs, but he sleeps with him he’s used to but other dog is very good. Could have just scared him and he is a very afraid. He was beaten up so much before I got him, but he just wants quiet in peace.

Message from Owner

I love that little guy so much I would never have taken him out of the situation he was in. I’m not a cat person, but my heart just automatically bonded with him even though I couldn’t keep them I knew of a very, very good home that he would lack for nothing and that was about to happen then he would have everything is shots and everything and a chip and he eats a very well now but for the first two weeks, she was here and never came upstairs. I put food and water on the stairs. That’s how scared he was but he sleeps with my two dogs and everything else but if there’s anything unusual or loud, he’s gone like a shot, but he always stays close to home and I can’t find him. He never doesn’t come home. My heart is breaking. You’re such a special cat Damien. I love you. Please come home.

Barbara Tracey i hope the cat comes back you are correct, the cat shouldn't be out without owner and leash or secured catio, period. And only once comfortable.

*Keep trying what's listed....All the best in your beautiful cat's return,~💜💜 **Cats that get outside, they tend to panic & hide, usually close to home. When it's dark out, go outside with a flashlight or headlamp & look under every bush, vehicles anything they might go to for safety around your home. Watch for their Eyes to light up with the beam of the flashlight. Let neighbors know, they sometimes will get locked in an open shed & Put posters up. Leave out some bedding/clothing of theirs & yours, but NOT the litter box. Going out with a bag of treats OR whatever your cat loves to eat... calling their name. IF at all possible to leave a window or door open, when it's quiet many have come back. Continue looking & calling. The cat is scared & hiding & may have been chased. REPEAT, REPEAT, REPEAT If possible consider building a CATIO- so much safer for kitties who like the sights/smells of outdoors. Attached is a website how to build, - google or fb has many to choose. https://thefurbearers.com/.../catio-season-why-cat.../

Rent or borrow a humane trap. The SPCA and other animal shelters rent them out for $100. When you return the trap you get your $100 back. Place the trap near where the cat escaped. Put some of the cat's favorite food and treats inside of the trap along with an article of your clothing with your scent on it. This method worked for me on two different occasions. If you trap the wrong cat or some other animal, put a blanket over the trap leaving the door exposed. Stand behind the trap and release the animal. Reset the trap. Time is of the essence so do this asap. Good luck and God bless.

Put up posters, put use litter outside so she/he can pick up on their scent. notified vets, shelters, and recuses. Also notified chipped company if your cat is chipped. Check 1-2 blocks each way calling the cats name. .Check close to home like tree's, brushes, and any holes he may fine to hide. Ask neighbors to check their backyards and sheds. Go out late at night when everything is quite calling the cats name while carry a treat like tuna, make sure you stop to listen. Check under cars etc... Do you know if their is a cat colony someone in your area bc you could check with them to see if your baby is there too GL...Also beware of scammers-don't give money and ask them to sent picture NO FOOD it will attack prey Litter will be up to owner to put outside by backdoor

Look under everything, decks, sheds, stairs and bushes. Leave his blanket or worn clothing outside, and if possible leave a door or a window open. Talk to neighbors, check security cameras, and put up big, bright posters. Call, especially at night with a flashlight to see eyes. The storm will have him scared and hiding.

Borrowed tips from another. Supervise while considering, as in some areas, some tips could also attrack unwanted visitors. Hi! 🐈Lost Cat tips/ideas. ⏰*TIME is important 🛑NO kitty litter! See below why. *Instead hang out clothing with your human scent ( dirty *socks* etc) replace daily. **Your kitty may still be close by. #1hiding spot under stairs/decks #2 in or under sheds/garages #3 in or under cars. Get a bright 🔦flashlight use day or night, some cats will not meow to give away their hiding spot as they are in survival mode. 👀Talk/Call calmly softly+shake treats. Listen. Repeat. **POSTERS/FLIERS DOOR TO DOOR **Include phone # for quick contact** when a sighting happens. Also put up on poles/mail boxes. *☎️Ask your neighbors to check their sheds, baby barns & garages as kitty may have been LOCKED😭 inside. *It is best to call for kitty late at night or early morning as they will usually hide during the daylight. **Sometimes, if you can leave your door/window open, they will come back in on their own. Just LOCK UP any other pets in another room. **Please post to your personal fb page. Set to public so we can share it. **Contact local vets, animal controls, SPCA, shelters. Kijiji. 🎵Radio . **Consider asking to borrow a humane Live Trap & Cam. 🐈*Good luck & never give up🐾 **👀 and post in Any 🏡community group that allows! ** 🛑 Kitty litter isnt always recommended by any trained animal rescue or trappers as it can also attract unfixed territorial cats and predators to the area. In cities or urban areas, less likely to get predators so may be ok under supervision. Other ideas to use dirty laundry with human scent replaced daily. POSTERS/Flyers door to door most effective way to spread the word, asking people to check sheds, garages. Check local rescues, vets and animal services daily in case someone picked up and turned kitty in to them. 🙏🐾🐈❤
