Elaine Winter hi Elaine, I just want to clarify that A. Lucky is not my dog, he is my boyfriend’s parents dog, I am only trying to help find him. And B. Although I appreciate the “help” you are trying to give, your tone and obnoxious comments don’t help anyone in any situation. So if you don’t have anything nice to say don’t say it. Thanks love. Anyways, yes he is microchipped. The tag was not updated because his mom (my bfs mom) was the phone number on the tag, but she had just moved to Mexico the week he went missing. So we did not have time to update it before she left and before the phone was disconnected. No we were not to lazy or cheap. Again it happened so quickly that we were all upset that we didn’t think to change it prior to her leaving. If someone takes him to the shelter or they put him up for adoption that’s better than him still being out on the street. We have been calling and visiting the shelters and dog pounds around our area since he went missing. We are not irresponsible dog owners. And you have no right to tell us we are. You don’t know the story you don’t know what happened. So again if you don’t have anything nice or helpful to say then keep scrolling my dear! Thank youuu!

Please edit your post with breed, female or male, age, if chipped or wearing a collar with or without tags. Info will help people match your dog to found dogs on other sites & searchers.

Was he microchipped? He should have been. Why didn't you get a new tag with an updated phone number? Were you too lazy or too cheap? Unfortunately, with the phone number on his tag disconnected, many people, and even the animal shelter, will think he was dumped and isn't wanted by his owner. Many people will keep him, or the shelter will put him up for adoption after 5 days. This is a consequence of you being an irresponsible dog owner.
