I’m sorry to hear about your beautiful sweet Frenchie. You need to walk into these shelters every single day and bring photos too. They pick up strays every single day. This is your best bank besides putting up flyers… don’t just call them. They won’t recognize your dog, even if he was staring at them because they’re so overcrowded! Please go to these shelters. You can also have friends go with you too. It’s worth it and your dog is worth it. here is a list of the shelters near you. Many shelters recommend walking through and checking every day because not every stray is identified correctly. The most important places are: 1. Humane Society of Ventura County (Ojai) * 402 Bryant St., Ojai, CA 93023 * Phone: (805) 646-6505 * This is the closest shelter to Ojai and they accept lost pet reports. 2. Ventura County Animal Services (Camarillo) * 600 Aviation Dr., Camarillo, CA 93010 * Phone: (805) 388-4341 * This is the county shelter that serves Ojai and is one of the first places she should check. 3. Santa Paula Animal Rescue Center (SPARC) * 705 E. Santa Barbara St., Santa Paula, CA 93060 * Phone: (805)525-8609. Good luck in finding your sweet angel and please get the microchip next time. ♥️🐾
