Black cat with half tail

I think the cat is female, she looks to be about 8-10lbs, appears to be 2 years or younger. She has been outside my apmt for several days and is there almost every time I go outside my door. Very affectionate. Only has half tail (not manx), and her right back paw seems like it was injured at some point, as it is missing some fur on the outer edge. She is very friendly and vocal. She has been trying to force her was into my apmt, but I have other cats and cannot let her inside. Not sure if she is someone's outdoor cat or not, as she seems a little thin.
