If chipped, notify the chip company and confirm contact info. Post on Nextdoor and post flyers. File online lost reports with shelter. Check Craigslist lost/found and pets for sale ads. Keep checking shelters online and in person.

We cant get ahold of you right away with no #'s in post.Not sure if you seen posted evening 5/21/26 Touch to open.They did not see if dogs were kept secured.

You need to edit this post and include best #'s to call so you can go right away its critical.Do same on Nextdoor App And post daily every other so nobody forgets. Also you need to put your phone number in that post.DO NOT respond to any codes it's people scamming.Put on NeighborsRing App.Your on border line of shelters. You're so close to the borderline of the jurisdiction of the shelters. If found in City of Sacramento which is west of Howe Ave by animal control they will take to Frontstreet shelter.If animal control picks up on the other side of Howe Ave going East they will take to Bradshaw shelter..ALL OWNERS Responsibility to check the website several times a day they start updating around noon when the public can bring them in.. Do not rely on anybody calling you and the deceased will not be on the websites.BE CONSISTENT Going in as long as it takes and every time you go and make sure you speak with somebody and also take the chip ID for the one dog that is chipped.. Have you notified the microchip company missing?Have you double checked to make sure it actually got registered? Every owner's responsibility don't assume it got done that's why many of the shelters especially if you change phone numbers and never told the chip company.
