Black fluffy kitty with yellow eyes. Recently spayed so she has a little shaved mark on her front paw that was growing back.

Message from Owner

Our kitten got out around 1 pm Friday, October 16th, near Rawlinson Road in Rock Hill. Her name is Zuzu, she seemed pretty scared and wouldn’t come right back to us. Shes fluffy, black and has yellow eyes. Shes around 5-6 months old so shes on the smaller side but long hair. She recently got spayed so she does have a little shaved mark on her right front paw. We’re on Madeline Drive. She ran into the woods around Madeline. Please let me know if you see her or find her. She also has a chip.

Try looking for her in the wee hours of the morning. Sometimes they feel more secure under the cover of darkness. I found one around 2:00 or 3:00 one morning. I wish you the best of luck and hope you find your baby

Tom Lancaster thank you! We’re doing all of the above and have traps set. Unfortunately no sightings since Friday 😞 we started with a small radius for flyers but will expand if we don’t have any luck soon.

Put out some worn clothing on your porch. Notify all your neighbors she is missing and ask them to check under their decks, house and in their garage and any outbuildings they might have. Put up flyers with her picture and your phone number around your neighborhood. Flyers work. Lots of people have found their cats because neighbors saw their flyers. You might also want to go out and look after dark with a flashlight and softly call her name. They typically don’t stray too far from home. Litter boxes outside can attract strays and coyotes. Be cautious of any drone or pet locator companies unless you personally know someone that has used them. They prey on people with missing pets for money.
