Judie Mandiberg Yes, seems like both of them are lost. But one is very friendly and the other one ( grey, Russian blue) is in a big distress ( look in the corner under the bush)

Please bring the cat inside and Post found cat flyers in the neighborhood, and bring the cat to a nearby vet to check for microchip. It’s free to check for a microchip. Make sure the vet scans the cat’s neck, shoulders and side near the shoulders several times because the microchip can migrate and the scanner doesn’t always immediately read it. Also please don’t just give the cat away to anyone that claims it is their cat. The possible owner must show proof of ownership including microchip, vet records, and especially their own photos. People will call and lie because there are horrible people all over looking for free pets for dog fighting bait and torture videos. They will lie to you to make you think they care and are trustworthy. They even bring children to play the part and try to convince you. They may also have fake names, fake rescues, fake websites and fake social media pages. You can’t trust people. Please read this: https://www.treehugger.com/dont-give-pets-away-free-127759. It is best to go through a legitimate reputable animal rescue/adoption organization, such as North Shore Animal League, Humane Society, Sean Casey Animal Rescue, or other LEGITIMATE rescues. You can also find a local rescue via Alley Cat Allies: https://www.alleycat.org/our-work/feral-friends-network/feral-friends-network-connect/ Also Bideawee’s list of local rescues: https://www.bideawee.org/programs/feral-cat-initiative/get-involved/nyc-tnr-organizations/ Or ask family and friends you trust if they can adopt/foster them.
