Thank you for helping this beautiful little soul! You can get the baby checked for a microchip for free at most vet clinics or the humane society. Please put in a safe and cool spare room to keep away from all the dangers outside, such as bad weather, coyotes, owls, eagles, raccoons, dogs, poisons, disease, traps, cars, and bad humans! Please don't give to just anyone because there are cruel people out there that get pets for horrible reasons like dogfighting bait and other sickening things! Make sure that anyone who tries to claim the pup has absolute proof of records or receipts, photos, videos, and can identify specific markings, personality, voice, etc!

If you have not done so please call the non emergency police and animal control in case his family has reported missing. You can also bring to an emergency vet and have them scan for a microchip for free. Please be careful if someone comes forward as the owner to make sure you get proof. Like a video of the person and dog together. Or have them identify a distinguishing mark that is not in the photo posted. There have been people in the area claiming dogs that are not actually theirs and selling them or using as bait in dog fighting. Thank you for helping and keeping the dog safe!
