Description

Update: Kitty is a girl!!! We took her to the vet a second time to get an estimate of age, and the vet confirmed this is a girly. Based on teeth, she is 7-8 months old. And weight is 6-7 lbs. All black, no distinguishing marks, small (glasses for scale),

Message from Finder

Took to vet this morning (3-10-26), and no microchip. Not fond of petting (likely due to being anxious), but was comfortable relaxing near us. Extremely well mannered even when hissing and growling (we had to clean up a little mess by his tail). Very curious. Yellow eyes, male, seems to be neutered according to vet. Around 5 lbs. He seemed too little to be a free roaming outdoor cat, so we brought him in just in case until the owner is found (we know there are larger roaming cats in our area). Keeping the little one happy and fed! We are cat parents already, so your little one is in good hands until you find him! Posted also on Petco Love Lost and Neighbors.

☆ Thank you for helping this beautiful little soul! You can get the baby checked for a microchip for free at most vet clinics or the humane society. Please put in a safe spare room to keep away from all the dangers outside, such as bad weather, coyotes, owls, eagles, raccoons, dogs, poisons, disease, traps, cars, and bad humans! Please don't give to just anyone because there are cruel people out there that get pets for horrible reasons like dogfighting bait and other sickening things! Make sure that anyone who tries to claim the cat has absolute proof of ownership such as photos, videos and veterinarian records or receipts, and can identify specific markings, personality, voice, etc! Most healthy adult cats tolerate temperatures down to about 45-50°F (7-10°C), but prolonged exposure below 45°F (7°C) becomes risky, and freezing temperatures (32°F/0°C and below) pose serious risks like frostbite and hypothermia for any cat, especially kittens, seniors, or sick pets, requiring insulated shelter, unfrozen water, and limited outdoor time to stay safe.

Search and cross-post on Nextdoor, Pawboost, Petco, Pet FBI, etc. Post to Nextdoor many aren't on FB. Thanks for helping kitty.

Thank you for helping this kitty. Always ask for approve of ownership and never give away for free unless you know them That could put that poor baby in horrific harm's way and the owners have time to claim. You can also bring to the Humane society and they will try and find this baby's home and if they can't they will find this baby a new one
