Found/Stray Dog in Hemet, CA 92543

Description

Recently groomed, all fur shaved short except head, brown and cream, Pomeranian, possibly a mix, small, sweet, maybe 3 or more years old. Well behaved.

Please share to help this little guy find his family. Between 7 and 7:30 am yesterday, I was preparing to do some yard work when I found this happy little guy standing on our front porch. I didn’t see what direction he came from and there was no human in any direction. Because I had time yesterday, I made a big effort to find his family. No luck yet. He is well fed, super friendly, recently groomed, not insecure, immediately liked our large dog, and seems to like cats too. He just seems loved by “someone.” We and neighbors in two direction from our hse have not seen him before. In fact we can’t recalling a Pomeranian here either. Yesterday the Haven Animal rescue on 7th and the Riverside Animal rescue on Grand in San Jacinto confirmed that he is microchipped but the owner contact info is no longer accurate. There is a phone number handwritten on his collar but it is not functioning and no one has responded to our text either. It appears that his name is also handwritten on his collar. If he is your dog or you know who he belongs to please have them respond here. To protect him and ensure he is given to his true owner we will need the owner to provide his name, photos, and proof of ownership. This photo and information have also been posted on Nextdoor and Lost Pets in Hemet and San Jacinto. Tonight we will post it on the County of Riverside Animal Shelter in San Jacinto website under Found pets. Finally I have started contacting nearby groomers. Hopefully he will be soon!
