Litter box outside helped my cat find his way home when he got out. Check with neighbors. Someone may have taken him in or seen him. Ask them to check their garages and sheds. He may have wandered in and got trapped. Cats hide when they are scared. Check under bushes and landscaping, under cars and stairs. Anyplace he could be hiding. Go out at night when it’s quiet with a flashlight and call him. The light will reflect his eyes. Leave garage door open enough for him to get in. Put up posters and check local shelters daily. Try to go in person. Employees can’t remember every animal. Check online sites for lost, found and animals for sale. KSL, Craig’s list

Put his litter box outside. Cats can smell a familiar scent from a long way. And beware of scammers (re: Amelina Lawrence) that tell you they found your pet!! They just want your personal info ie: cell phone number to start with. These jerks do this all the time! Don't respond!

Make sure you make posts of your missing pet on pawboost and nextdoor. Put your pet’s blanket or a dirty laundry outside. You should also reach out out to this rescue team that I hired to find my daughter's puppy last month after we reported to them, you can reach out out to them on Instagram LOST_PET_RESCUE. I'm sure they will respond to my you. Put a big missing sign in your yard and surrounding area.
