Please bring the cat inside and if you cannot keep to find the owner please bring to the Irvine non- shelter. They post the animals on the website when found. I was just there on Saturday

Please call the Irvine animal shelter to see if someone has reported this Cat lost. People always call the shelters. Please fax a flyer over there. In addition please post on nextdoor.com your neighborhood watch and all lost pet sites. If you would be kind enough to post some flyers saying found Cat that would be wonderful. If you could bring it in the house, the coyotes are everywhere that would be great. Thank you for saving this baby’s life.

Thank you for being so kind to help keep this kitty safe. Are you able to secure inside to keep from a coyote getting him/her? 🐾 IF YOU FIND A CAT 🐾 Here’s what to do to help reunite a lost kitty with their family: 1. Post Online Share the found cat on local lost/found pet Facebook pages and neighborhood apps like: • Nextdoor • PawBoost • Ring Neighborhood • Local community groups 2. Check for a Microchip Take the cat to a nearby veterinarian or animal shelter to be scanned for a microchip. • Many animal rescuers have their own scanner and may be able to help. • Always use a secure cat crate or carrier to prevent escapes. 3. Put Up “FOUND CAT” Signs Not everyone is on social media! Post signs around the neighborhood - especially near where the cat was found. 4. File a Found Report This is very important. Contact your local animal shelter to report the found cat. 5. Foster if You Can If you’re able, please foster the cat while trying to locate the owner. It keeps them safe and off the streets. 6. Verify Ownership Ask anyone claiming the cat to provide proof of ownership, such as: • Photos of the cat • Vet records • Identifying details
