Message from Owner

Our cat Phyllis that we’ve had for 7 years has gone missing. She’s an indoor/outdoor cat and has never strayed for from home. Usually only a radius of 2 hses on each side. We returned from vacay on 6/14 and she wasn’t there to greet us. Our neighbors said they hadn’t seen her for a few days. Coincidentally our immediate neighbors were moving out the weekend we were out of town. I’m afraid she might have jumped into the back of the moving truck out of curiously and ended up getting stuck… We’ve searched by foot all around our hse snd immediate area and also put out flyers. She is microchipped. We’re holding out hope that she might still be alive and will return home. Thank you!

She is an indoor/outdoor cat that mostly sleeps indoors but she does sleep outdoors on occasion (sometimes once a week). She has access to an elevated screened in porch for shelter in the event she's not at the door when we go to sleep at night or in the event we are gone and she's not inside or if she's not at the door to come inside when our neighbor is over to give them food/water while we're out of town. We do have wild animals in the neighborhood (no loose dogs that I've ever seen). She's been living this way for 7 years now. Thanks for your comments and help!

You left her outside while you went on vacation? Check sides of streets, under bushes & brush in case she was hit by a car. Are there coyotes, loose dogs, or people who don't like cats in your neighborhood? Check with rescue groups and county/town shelters in case she was turned in.
